Question 1

How does gearshare work?

Accepted Answer

Browse gear listed by people in your neighbourhood, select dates, and book securely. Pick up locally and return when done. Listers earn money, renters save money.

Question 2

Is it safe to rent from strangers?

Accepted Answer

All renters verify their phone number before their first rental. Listers may set an optional security deposit, placed as an authorization hold at handoff and released automatically on a clean return. Ratings and reviews are visible on every profile.

Question 3

How much does it cost?

Accepted Answer

Listers set their own prices. A small service fee that covers payment processing is added at checkout. Listing on gearshare is free.

Question 4

What areas does gearshare cover?
